“Flying into the gravity skills” focuses mainly on the movement‘s relationship with the floor, earth, and ground. Simple movement patterns involve breathing, speed, and the release of energy through the body in order to activate the relationship between the center and the periphery as well as between the joints and the skin. Exercises mainly focus on the relation towards other people, space, gravity, towards our mentality and experiencing ourselves in the present moment. The workshop focuses on moving in and out of the ground more efficiently by maintaining the state of being centered. The emphasis is placed on the skeletal structure, with the approach of improving physical perception and alertness. Isael explores the primary laws of physics: cohesion and expansion while using the principals of recreating movements of daily´s life and exploring the influences of voice onto the body´s movement. Figuring out what the body has to say in the moments when we even don’t move and don’t talk is one of the main approaches, which is being achieved through dynamic dance sequences, partnering work and diverse techniques including Flying Low and Release Technique. Answers are appearing, when we open the space for the body to talk.

"My work is very movement focused and is a hybrid of contemporary techniques that use full bodied connectivity to explore the ideas of weight, momentum, gravity, energy and expansiveness. My virtuosic vocabulary moves through the space and in and out of the floor with an emphasis on efficiency, use of breath and sensitivity.”
